An increasing number of low cost airlines are offering relatively
inexpensive flights to Sofia. From there, transport can easily
be arranged to take you to Bansko. The distance between Sofia
Airport to Bansko is 160km and the transfer time is anything between
2 to 2 .5 hours. The road is a mixture of motorway and A class
roads.
Flights available from Wizz Air from Luton airport and Easyjet
from Manchester airport, both fly direct to Sofia.
Car
hire is available from Rent-a-Car Bulgaria.
An airport transfer service is available through Murphy's Lodge,
this costs approximately 75 euros, one way for 3 - 4 people, contact
